Jabar.Sin.co.id – The West Java Provincial Government launched the 2026 Public Information Disclosure Monitoring and Evaluation to improve the quality of information services of all public bodies (22/6/2026).
The activity was organized by the West Java Provincial Information Commission as an implementation of Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure.
The Regional Secretary of West Java Province, Herman Suryatman, opened the event with the theme “Promoting Public Information Transparency Towards Special West Java.”
Herman emphasized that openness of public information is the foundation for realizing transparent, accountable, and participatory governance.
“Information transparency is also an important instrument in strengthening public services and increasing public trust in government administration,” Herman said.
Secretary of the West Java Provincial Cooperatives and Small Business Office, Tatang Suryana, signed a Joint Commitment Pact for Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Information Disclosure in 2026.
The signing is a manifestation of the public body’s commitment to improving the quality of information services that are fast, accurate, transparent, and accountable.
This commitment also strengthens the role of the Information and Documentation Management Officer in providing information that is easily accessible to the public.
Through participation in the 2026 Public Information Disclosure Monitoring and Evaluation, the West Java Provincial Cooperatives and Small Business Office continues to improve information service governance.
This step is expected to make it easier for the public to obtain public information and support informative, transparent, and accountable governance in West Java.
